Daft Punk Feat. Pharrell Williams – Get Lucky

Coachella attendees who arrived early for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs‘ set got the added bonus of seeing an extended trailer for Daft Punk‘s forthcoming Random Access Memories (out May 21)/video for “Get Lucky,” a song the French duo began teasing last month. Thankfully, the clip was captured on a cell phone and uploaded to YouTube.

“She’s up all night to this song, I’m up all night to get some,” Pharrell slyly sings over the retro-disco number.

So, one would guess that’s an actual snippet of the official “Get Lucky” video. But we don’t know for sure just yet. One thing that is certain: you’ve definitely got the world’s attention, Daft Punk. Another track for my workout playlist. Can’t wait for this album!

The Runner In Me Is In Shock Today!

Most of you who read this blog know that I am training for a half marathon.  It will be my 5th half marathon in less then approx 5 years. My training schedule called for me to do at less 10k+ run on a regular basis. I watched the exciting finish of the women and then men elite runners at the Boston Marathon today until shortly after 3 o’clock when a breaking news notification popped up on my iPhone screen. I am heartbroken about the devastating news from the Boston Marathon today. It was supposed to be such an inspiring and amazing day.

AAARUN

I had a regular post planned for the day but it seems insensitive today. To all of the runners, their families and people of Boston… my thoughts are with you all.
