Madame Tussauds Unveils Wax Tribute To Whitney Houston

Almost a year already! It seems like yesterday that everyone  sat together in shock as news spread across the world that America’s sweetheart, “The Voice,”  Whitney Houston was gone. The famed Madame Tussauds wax museum has unveiled four brand new statues of the late icon, each from a different period in her stellar 30 year career just two days away from the one year anniversary of her passing.

The unveiling will mark the first time in the more than 200-year history of Madame Tussauds that four distinct wax likenesses of a single subject representing different points of their life have been created.  Molded at the museum’s London studio, the four shades of Whitney will be spread out to different cities across the country.  Las Vegas will receive “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” Whitney, Los Angeles gets “The Bodyguard” Whitney, New York receives a statue of Whitney from a 2009 photoshoot and D.C gets a statue designed in honor of Whitney’s historic Super Bowl performance. I Eat Mainely Lobster by OPI

Just a little nail post today with my I Eat Mainely Lobster by OPI Nail Polish. By the way, I love nail polish and all things mani & pedi, so you’re sure to see some more post from this as the weather gets a little warmer.
I Eat Mainely Lobster doesn’t seem to shift colour too much in different lighting. It generally ranges from a slightly more salmon-y colour, to a fairly orange leaning colour.

Directions of use:
  • To apply, begin at the centre of your nail, approximately a couple of mm from your cuticle.
  • Let the bristles fan out for maximum coverage and with each brush stroke, brush out to the free edge.
