Most Beautiful Libraries In The World

I came across these photos of the most beautiful libraries in the world. They are breathtaking and remind me of the fantasy worlds in some my favorite novels.

I visited 2 of these libraries  (see below Spain & France) and hope to visit a couple of them in the near future.

ab1

Trinity College, Ireland

ab2

Handelingenkamer Library, Netherlands

ab3

Admont Abbey, Austria

ab4

Melk Monastery, Austria

ab5

Stahov Monastery, Czech Rep.

ab6

Clementinum National, Czech Rep.

ab7

Abbey St. Gallen, Switzerland

ab8

Bibloteca Geral University of Coimbra.

ab9

Library of El Escorial, Spain.

ab10

Bibliothèque Nationale De France.

ab11

Monastery, Germany.

Have you visited one of these libraries or are you planning to visit a couple of them in the near future? Let me know in a comment below as I would love to hear from you.

xoxo,

Janice

  1. It’s said that the old library in Netherlands only opens for a month from late August to September every year. I was planning a trip to Rotterdam and thought it would be nice to visit this most well-known library. Sadly it’s not the right time:-(
